Matrix is a research that focuses on the methodology of forming spaces.

The research begins with a single plan of Mies’s Country Brick House.

By analyzing the grid of drawing, then generate a series of rules of forms.

By following the “Mies rules“ the matrix can be used as a articulation tool, forming spaces from an interior to different typology of housing, and finally a matrix city.
