How to design the potential of compact rental living?

Instead of designing for a fully renovated home, the project is further in search of introducing an incomplete situation, awaiting residents' shifting. Based on the limited budget and future needs of being a rental house, the design uses all movable furniture under the most basic service facilities and decorations to provide the most significant future flexibility. With a total interior width of only 3.2m, the proposal arranges the program into a compact linear plan with three areas: the service area, the living area, and the breathing area. With the full-width sliding facade, the functions of each area can be flexibly isolated or complimented.
